Marry Me Again?© Michelle Gauci
I've spent the day thinking
wondering if its real.
There has to be a special way
to show you how I feel.
Your presence makes me tremble
your eyes alight with love
if there is a place called heaven
you were sent from up above
I think of all the memories
the times we spent together
The one thing that I'll always
know is we will be forever.
I think back to the day
of when we said "I Do"
and you softly whispered in my ear
the words "I love you"
I felt true love that day
and feel it more and more
We have created something magic
in our family of four.
You have been in my thoughts all day
long and then it dawned on me
My love for you is so strong
I want the world to see
I want to take you in my arms
and dance under the rain
So Chris, will you do me the honor
of marrying me again?
Happy birthday
I will always love you.

When You Are Old By W. B. Yeats
When you are old and gray and full of sleep,
And
nodding by the fire, take down this book,
And slowly read, and dream of the
soft look
Your eyes had once, and of their shadows deep;
How many
loved your moments of glad grace,
And loved your beauty with love false or
true;
But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you,
And loved the sorrows
of your changing face.
And bending down beside the glowing bars
Murmur, a little sadly, how love fled
And paced upon the mountains
overhead
And his his face amid a crowd of stars.
And
nodding by the fire, take down this book,
And slowly read, and dream of the
soft look
Your eyes had once, and of their shadows deep;
How many
loved your moments of glad grace,
And loved your beauty with love false or
true;
But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you,
And loved the sorrows
of your changing face.
And bending down beside the glowing bars
Murmur, a little sadly, how love fled
And paced upon the mountains
overhead
And his his face amid a crowd of stars.
The Moon by Jaime Sabines
You can take the moon by the
spoonful
or in capsules every two hours.
It's useful as a hypnotic and sedative
and besides it relieves
those who have had too much
philosophy.
A piece of moon in your purse
works better than a rabbit's
foot.
Helps you find a lover
or get rich without anyone knowing,
and it staves off doctors and clinics.
You can give it to children like
candy
when they've not gone to sleep,
and a few drops of moon in the
eyes of the old
helps them to die in peace.
Put a new leaf of
moon
under your pillow
and you'll see what you want to.
Always carry
a little bottle of air of the moon
to keep you from drowning.
Give the
key to the moon
to prisoners and the disappointed.
For those who are
sentenced to death
and for those who are sentenced to life
there is no
better tonic than the moon
in precise and regular doses.
